BioRemedial Technologies, Incorporated (BRT) has been generating “biological solutions to environmental problems” since 1993. Our goal is to provide business managers and environmental professionals (engineers and consultants) biological expertise and technologies to clean contaminated sites and eliminate liabilities in the shortest amount of time at the lowest cost.

The company owns and operates full-scale microbiological laboratories with analytical capabilities to evaluate biochemical processes. Laboratories are staffed with Ph.D. environmental microbiologists, laboratory technicians and environmental scientists. Services are applied at private and government sites including contracts at United States Department of Energy and Department of Defense facilities.

The technology platform is the isolation and development of the site’s native microbial population to treat soil, groundwater and other media contaminated with hydrocarbons and chlorinated solvents. BRT is primarily involved with developing and deploying aerobic (oxygen-requiring) biodegradation processes that are generally faster than anaerobic (in the absence of oxygen) reactions. BRT sites have been given “No Further Action” declarations from regulatory agencies, thereby allowing the sites to be redeveloped and sold. The capital and operational cost of the biological systems employed were significantly less than that of traditional remedial processes.
